STALLIONS
We have two stallions, Beau and Charlie. Beau is dark bay with a white blaze and 4 white socks, and Charlie is black with a white star and snipe, and 4 white socks.
Each stallion runs year round with a group of mares. Gestation is around 11 months and we aim to foal in April. The mares are covered again naturally, usually during the foal heat a week or so after giving birth. The foals run with the herd until weaning. They are then separated off, usually at 6 months old.
